Bread: The Soul of Ukraine — A Cultural Storytelling, Demo, and Tasting Experience

Discover the deep cultural meaning of bread in Ukrainian life at this immersive library event led by Ukrainian chef and culinary instructor, Tetiana Sherman. Through storytelling, hands-on demonstration, and tasting, explore how bread has shaped Ukrainian identity across centuries — from rituals and celebrations to resilience in times of hardship.

All ages welcome.

Each participant will receive a small sample of 3 kinds of bread (warning: includes gluten). Additional bread and souvenirs will be available for purchase at the end of the event.
